Who We Are
Restoring Futures Through Accountability
"Helping young people to make good things happen in their lives."
For 29 years, Forge Evolution (formerly known as the Teen Court Program) has empowered the youth of Colorado Springs by addressing first-time misdemeanor offenses through education, accountability, and mentorship. Instead of facing formal criminal charges, referred youth—often from School Resource Officers or the City Attorney’s Office—are given the opportunity to participate in the Forge Evolution program. Upon successful completion, their records are expunged, giving them a clean slate and a renewed opportunity to build brighter futures.
For over ten years, the Xi Pi Uplift Foundation has been a steadfast partner in this transformative work. Through weekly classroom engagement, the Brothers of Omega Psi Phi Xi Pi Chapter serve as Life Skills facilitators, mentors, and positive role models, helping youth navigate life challenges, build confidence, and develop decision-making skills. Beyond hands-on mentorship, the Foundation has also provided board leadership and financial support, ensuring the sustainability and continued growth of Forge Evolution’s mission.
Together, Forge Evolution and the Xi Pi Uplift Foundation embody the spirit of community uplift—helping young people learn from mistakes, discover their potential, and take meaningful steps toward success.
About The Program
Members of the Xi Pi Chapter provides mentors and life skills facilitators for Colorado Springs Teen Court. Teen Court is a unique and highly successful approach to juvenile crime. In Colorado Springs, this independent non-profit program provides an alternative to the regular Municipal Court sentencing for first-time misdemeanor offenses committed by young people between 10 and 18 years of age.
The purpose of Teen Court is to hold youth offenders accountable for their actions and assist them in making better life choices through relevant sentencing options. The theme of this initiative is “Empowering Our Youth Through Restorative Justice for a Brighter Future.” The Uplift Foundation provides an annual grant to support the ongoing services provided by Colorado Springs Teen Court.
How We Impact The Community
With a strong foundation in service and leadership, we strive to create lasting change by helping young people make good things happen in their lives.
We’ve awarded over $328,000 in scholarships to local high school students—helping them take their first step toward a brighter future through higher education.
We believe lasting impact starts at the local level, and that's why 100% of our efforts are focused right here at home. We're proud to serve, support, and uplift the very community we call family.
As the charitable arm of the Xi Pi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., we carry forward a legacy of brotherhood, leadership, and community uplift—impacting lives with purpose and integrity.
