The Xi Pi Uplift Foundation exists to support, inspire, and uplift our community — one life at a time. We are committed to education, service, and leadership development throughout Colorado Springs and the greater Pikes Peak Region.
About The Xi Pi Uplift Foundation
Founded in 2003 as a 501(c)(3) public charity, the Omega Uplift Foundation, Inc. serves as the philanthropic arm of the Xi Pi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Based in Colorado Springs, our mission is simple yet powerful: to uplift and empower youth through transformative mentorship and scholarship programs that ignite potential and illuminate pathways to success.
Led by a dedicated seven-member Board of Directors—currently chaired by Mr. Courtney Henderson, LTC-USA (Retired)—and powered by the passion of the Xi Pi Chapter membership, we are united in purpose and action.
Central to our work is the Samuel C. Hunter Scholarship Fund, honoring the legacy of Mr. Samuel C. Hunter, Jr.—Tuskegee Airman, lifelong Fraternity brother, and steadfast advocate for education. His spirit inspires our commitment to higher education.
Since inception, we’ve awarded over $328,000 in scholarships to 124 promising students and established $605,000 in permanent endowments at
Colorado College and the University of Colorado–Colorado Springs, building opportunity for generations to come.
We are proud to announce our recently established endowment with Pikes Peak State College, targeting the Elementary Education Bachelor of Science (BS) degree program in its initial phase. This new initiative reflects our continued investment in the future of education, particularly among those who aspire to shape young minds.
Once we reach our $100,000 fundraising goal, we look forward to launching Phase II—exploring the expansion of support to include the college’s nursing program, addressing critical workforce needs in our community.
